Meet Our Team

Sasha Lee, Social Media & Communications Coordinator

Sasha Lee is a West Coast native and a cum laude graduate from the University of Washington, Seattle, with a BA in Law, Societies & Justice. Her professional and academic experience is rooted in democratic resilience work, international affairs, and political history. Sasha has specifically studied social justice movements, ranging from the Deep American South to Eastern Germany. Recently, she has transitioned her expertise and passion for communications on behalf of important social causes into the digital marketing sphere. Sasha is excited to tell America SCORES Seattle’s story, expand their brand presence as well as bring measurable impact to the school districts and families served. Beyond her nonprofit and grassroots work, Sasha can be found playing on her local catchball league or hunting for her new favorite film at various film festivals in the PNW.

Shayna Negrete, Soccer Coordinator

Shayna Negrete is a powerhouse in education, childcare, and human services—with 16+ years of experience, a knack for leadership, and a heart for making a difference. She’s managed teams, trained future leaders, juggled budgets, and even stepped into classrooms when needed (because sometimes, you’ve got to lead by example!). Her career has taken her from early childhood education to substance use counseling in prisons, outpatient centers, and women’s programs—proving she’s all about helping people through life’s biggest transitions. She thrives on building strong, happy teams and creating programs that truly change lives. Her big dreams? Opening an infant-toddler center and a transitional housing program for individuals reentering society. When she’s not busy being a change-maker, you might find her cheering on the Seattle Sounders, exploring new destinations, or planning her next adventure—because life is about the journey, on and off the field!

John Studebaker, Field Correspondent
John Studebaker is from Fall City and is a junior at The Bear Creek School in Redmond.
