Seattle SCORES is thrilled to announce a new partnership with GO PT, a family-owned physical therapy clinic dedicated to helping athletes recover quickly and perform at their best—on and off the field.

With locations in Queen Anne and South Lake Union (SLU), GO PT founder Michael Domingo has seen the impact of sports on youth athletes, but wants to expand to more communities, especially those that have been divested and underserved. Bringing these resources can set new trajectories for family and generational health that Domingo has found his niche in.

"Our goal is to help people move and feel to the best of their ability, especially with youth athletes," Domingo shares. "...we know the earlier in life someone can learn and implement our treatment strategies, the better off they are to reduce their risk of injury and improve their performance throughout their lifetime."

Through this new partnership, SCORES families will be introduced to physical therapy services and resources ranging from strength and conditioning exercises, to proper form for movements, and nutrition education—all aimed at empowering our students to stay healthy, confident, and active. This will be invaluable for the work of Seattle SCORES moving forward, including the mental and emotional well-being of our Poet-Athletes.

"I couldn’t be more excited about our partnership with GO PT! This collaboration represents an incredible opportunity to deepen our impact on the lives of Poet-Athletes," Alexandra Foster, Executive Director of Seattle SCORES, tells us.

"Some of our students are navigating incredibly tough circumstances—whether it's food insecurity, housing instability, or educational barriers. We can't solve every issue, but what we can offer is a safe place to play, a space to express their truth, and opportunities to grow stronger. Health and wellness are foundational to that. When kids feel good in their bodies, they’re better able to channel hard feelings, stay out of trouble, and ultimately believe in their own power."

In addition to serving families, this partnership offers valuable benefits for SCORES’ supporters, community partners, and beyond. GO PT’s physical therapy services support not just youth, but people of all ages--and this collaboration is rooted in a commitment to generational health and healing. That’s why we’re excited to extend this opportunity to parents, caregivers, and elders in our community, integrating wellness into daily life for everyone we serve.

Starting this month, Seattle SCORES will launch a new Health & Wellness blog and newsletter series in partnership with GO PT! Articles will include accessible wellness tips, movement strategies, injury prevention guidance—and special discounts for SCORES families and supporters.

About Us

Seattle SCORES isn’t just an after-school program—it’s a movement.

We’re a growing community of parents, soccer fans, educators, athletes, youth advocates, and neighborhood leaders who believe in building brighter, healthier futures for kids.

At the heart of it all are our Poet-Athletes—elementary and middle school students who gain confidence, character, and creativity through the power of sport and self-expression.

Our blog highlights their stories, celebrates community voices, and shows how SCORES is creating real impact in schools, on the field, and across Seattle—every single day.
